A) What options are available to you as a 'game designer'?
well basically we have to create a game that has already been created by somebody else since we have the same tools and characters available. and we don't really have the freedom to create anything different from the options. which is kind of boring.
B) How are these options provided?
the options are well setup on the side of the screen which allows us to customize the game with an easy and fast interface.
C) What types of elements are provided for you to use to 'build' the game?
we have a variety of different traps enemies and things that are going to help you in the game.
D) What limits are set on the level of the game play able to be customized
the games have only a few features that make you feel stuck,. because they all seem repetitive.
E) What does the process of using these game creators teach about the notion of the 'difficulty and achievement' balance? Explain using an example from your research.
even though the games are easy to make, is difficult to actually make a game work successfully, you have to think a little to make the game fun.
When you are done, trade places with another student and have them answer the following questions.
1) Is the game level fun to play? (be honest!)
2) If so, why? If not, why not?
3) What could be done to improve the level?
